When the PCLab.pl hit tablet designed for children, there was no doubt who to pass it to the test. As the only child in the editorial have exactly the age of potential buyers of this type of equipment. Comfort at the age of 2, 4.5 and 6 years old is perfect testers for the tablet Kiddo. Unfortunately, my initial enthusiasm quickly dropped when I gave equipment toddlers, and after a while they came back to me with the first problem.
NavRoad Nexo Kiddo is a tablet with the parameters rather low shelf. 1-gigahertz, single-core processor Rockchip RK2926, half a gigabyte of RAM, 8 GB of memory for data and a 7-inch screen with a 800×480 resolution display – horror of horrors – TN not optimistic. For the two cameras, the main (rear) 2-megapixel and front 0.3 Mpix and the mini USB and headphone jack. Plus microSD card slot. This characteristic parameters for tablets before 2-3 years. A modern touch is the only operating system in a fairly fresh version – Google Android 4.2.2.

It’s a cool idea, because the standard for typical tablet with Andoid or iOS apps are all mixed together. The problem is that all the games and applications that you install on Nexo Kiddo, it is generally appki for Android Google Play store (none of the application is not created for Kiddo). And there would be nothing wrong with that, if not for two important problems.

Any parent who handed the tablet to play with their kids know how a typical scenario of use: Toddler finger across the screen scrolls a sprite with applications, knocking one of them, while the denying, then presses the “Home” returns to the list of applications and selects another program.

Fortunately, charge the battery to full does not take long – just over 2 hours with the supplied charger (provides a current of 2 A, so larger than a typical USB connector on the laptop).

Surely all holders of expensive iPad tablet type who have small children, all the time have to hide the equipment, because babies love to play tablets and we will be happy to sneak them. Unfortunately, often we are afraid then of our private or business data that the toddler accidentally deletes them, not to mention the same hardware, which tends to fall with small hands, and exposed to pouring juice, dirt jam or butter. Therefore I wr?czyliby?my your children resistant, easy-to-use tablet on which you are only applications and games for small children. So he assumed look Nexo Kiddo.
Unfortunately, while weak hardware parameters can forgive him (in the end, as I said above, the tablet for children must be cheap – that he was not too bad, but when not survive the encounter with a minor user), it is … his biggest gripe are the applications themselves. Manufacturer unfortunately did not prepare any of your own programs (not counting the islands of Leon, but it did not own program, but a collaboration NavRoad and Hortex), and those available on Google Play mostly not suitable for small children.
