12.9 “iPad Pro. Not so fast as we thought? – Computer World (press release)

Gossip on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro circulate the web for many months, and in the meantime new information about this device provides us with The Wall Street Journal.

If you believe the rumors that Apple intended to begin mass production of the iPad Pro in December of this year. However, these plans allegedly changed and the production process has shifted over time. Why? Allegedly because of the high demand for the iPhone 6 (especially 5.5-inch model), so not really doing Foxconn. Not keeping pace just production. That’s why Apple wants to partners at the event focused on providing new smartphones. Apparently 12.9-inch iPad can wait.

iPad Pro is to have 12.9-inch display with a resolution similar in the current tablet Apple A8X new processor and 2 GB of RAM. Earlier rumors pointed to debut the device in the second quarter of 2015.
