U.S.: Apple denied trademark registration iPad Mini - Voice of Russia

the United States Patent Office refused to register the Apple iPad Mini trademark. Officials believe that this is only a descriptive name for the popular tablet and it does not have any greater value.

Apple has until July to prove to the Office of the Petitioners and the United States Trademark Office that the device is significantly different from the other and should have its own name.
