Air iPad 3 and iPhone 7 without 3D Touch – Onet.pl

3D Touch technology, which made its debut in the new smart phones and MacBooks, it becomes increasingly useful as more applications begin to fully utilize its functionality. Apple wants therefore to extend the range of devices equipped with this system, and its engineers are working on a new version, which will be adapted to larger displays.

Sources say Apple is unable use the current version of 3D touch devices with larger displays, such as 9.7 “panels used in iPads Air. Technology requires the appropriate system scaling to fit its functionality for larger screens.

The company is therefore on a new version of the solution that would integrate iPhones and iPads, and further support is larger devices, such as 12.9 “iPad Pro.

Unfortunately this work has begun apparently quite late, because the new technology will not be ready fast enough that it can be implemented in the Air iPad 3 and iPhone 7. Fans of the brand who would like to have a 3D touch on their tablets, they will therefore have to wait a little longer.
