more often use their mobile devices to browse the Internet. This trend is noticeable all over the world and certainly the number of people serfujÄ…cych the network using a tablet or phone will grow. Hardly anyone realizes, however, how much has changed over the past few years, the percentage of individual equipment manufacturers in the Polish Internet.
According to the analysis of data collected by Gemius, the undisputed winner in among mobile devices that generate traffic on the internet, even in May 2010 was Nokia (blue) with a score of 39%. From that moment it was only worse. Already at the beginning of 2011 its share fell below 30%. Another half a year was not kind to the Finnish company. In June, Apple (gray) overtook its competitor by an increasing share of iPads in generating traffic. The year 2011 was also not optimistic for Sony Ericcson – its share by 12 months fell from about 17 percent to twelve. Small victory but suffered Samsung (green), which by the end of the year received more than 20%. Two thousand twelfth brought us their acquisition by Sony Ericcson (orange). In this way the corporation, which was not even one percent of the shares, gained them more than twelve. In addition, in January 2012 was the month in which Samsung and Nokia have reached the same result – about 21%. We can also see a growing market dominance of Apple’s devices. Finally, at the end of the year, the company under the sign of apples reached as many as 34 percent, just behind her was a Samsung (26%), while Sony and Nokia leveled as a result, to afford the 13 percent. It is also worth mentioning the appearance of trace traffic from devices in our home GoClever (0.2%) and a noticeable popularity device Nexus 7 Asus and Google (1%).The next year is already race Samsung and Apple devices. Firms each take their own shares. Heavily lose for it to Sony and Nokia. Until the end of 2013 the results fall according to the eleven and ten percent. December is also a month of Apple’s advantage over its main competitor. Despite the loss, the company achieved 2 percent lead over rival that has 29 percent stake.
The market is still unpredictable. Nokia’s share decline is to be expected, but the beginning of the year is a Korean manufacturer sudden triumph over Apple. Last month, he was able to, with a score of 31%, to achieve a two percent advantage. It remains an open question whether to Samsung manages to keep the victory over the leader of California, or whether it will be quite the opposite? So far, however, the Korean company can celebrate the dominance of their devices.
