Goclever Insignia 785 Pro - good (but not sensational) tablet ... - dobreprogramy

Goclever Polish company which specializes in the production of smartphones and tablets, was for me a lot unknown. So far, I had the opportunity to test devices from Samsung, LG and Apple, so the tablet Goclever Insignia 785 Pro was my first encounter with this brand. Bravely took so for unpacking boxes, which in addition to the tablet, I found the charger with a separate USB cable, USB OTG cable and headset.

The tablet itself, at first glance, it looks like the iPad, though it is much smaller. Screen size of 7.85 inches (hence the model number) is sizable advantage, because competing tablets can boast screens almost an inch smaller. Another common feature of Apple’s product is the aspect ratio, which amounts to 4:3. The screen image is displayed with a resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels. Below it is placed battery with a capacity of 4600 mAh.

The device itself is quite light and weighs 314 grams – almost the same as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0. Other dimensions of the device is 200 × 137 × 72 mm. Photography is a 5 MP camera that has no flash or auto-focus. Big minus, because the images captured tablet suited more to hide in a drawer, than the exhibition. The front panel of the shocking undeveloped space. With these dimensions the device, the screen could easily be larger. The only addition to the screen, part of what we find here is a front webcam with the matrix 2 MP. Not u?wiadczy?em light sensor, which definitely would be handy device. Moreover, the housing is equipped with a volume control buttons and switches, which are located in the upper right corner, a micro USB port, a mini-jack and a slot for a micro SD card. Speakers are located on the rear panel that looks interesting, but it is pretty slick.

tablet looks fairly well built device. However, I would not risk dropping, because the lack of Gorilla Glass screen is a large disadvantage. Besides, nothing creaks, and the tablet quite comfortable in the hand.

so much about the appearance of the device, the time is to focus on what the tablet is in the middle. The first thing that distinguishes it from other units on the market, is the Intel Atom Z2580 2.0GHz, whose two cores and Hyper-Threading “make a difference”. In addition, the tablet comes with 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory and Android version 4.2.2. Tablet has only WiFi and Bluetooth modules, so we need to ensure that the device has WiFi access. Otherwise, do not connect to the Internet and use your smartphone as a portable access point is not the best idea.

image displayed by the Insignia is of good quality and you can use the tablet even when the sun is shining strongly. The colors are vibrant, thanks to IPS technology. The only thing I can find fault, it’s low resolution screen. You do not need specially to be staring to notice individual pixels. I’m picky, but I believe that the IPS in conjunction with Full HD 16:9 ratio would have left the competition far behind, and yes … it feels a bit unsatisfied, because the screen is good, but not sensational. This may result from the same applications that treat the tablet as a device MDPI. In addition, multi-touch support only 5 points, when applicable standard has long been 10 points. That camera will leave without comment and I will use the image captured by the artificial light. As you can see, the noise is significant. And enough to use the flash …

audio system, in turn, is doing quite well. Particularly good impression made on me speakers that play music loud and clear. The headset is doing well not too bad, despite the rather poor quality headphones, which have very thin and short cord. However, do not expect miracles in the equipment that would cost a few dollars at the store. Headphones reproduce sound decent, although the manufacturer to ensure that the songs were louder, because in the case of noise outside, you can have big problems with hearing the music. There is also no sponges that wyt?umi?yby sound. However, this is a tiny detail.
