Once upon a time I was not in the hands of any iPad. My iPad 2 (yes, I know, prehistory) lies on the shelf (generally used by my sister), moreover, perfectly confirmed by the fact that recently I could not find a dedicated charger. But leave me alone two. For several months, the market is available after iPad Pro version 9.7-inch . But the truth is that getting him to test almost impossible. This pleased me more suggestion from a friend who was so kind that … loaned me his private equipment for testing. How cool is that ?!

Design, workmanship
Each Apple hardware in terms of quality performance is a masterpiece – and admittedly, regardless of whether these products are close to us, or the opposite. iPads forever me in this respect liked. They have always been refined, elegant, and it was obvious attention to every detail. the same is true in the case of the iPad Pro.
the housing unibody made of a solid piece of metal, on which the center stands out shiny Apple logo, which is characteristic nibbled apple (by the way, loves to collect fingerprints). The device is extremely slim – its thickness is only 6.1 mm. Slim, combined with zeszlifowanymi edges and the metal casing mean that we are dealing with a premium product not only because of the price, but first of all a look.
While I admit that as far as the back and sides of the iPad Pro to my liking, so now the front panel not. All the wide borders above and below the screen, which Apple itself pleased with the first-generation iPad – as they were thick, so they are still (the side over the years, space will have been diminishing and is a big plus). of course say that thanks to this we have more space to freely grab the tablet in your hands, so it is impossible to disagree. But on the other hand – this place does not need that much, could easily be a little bit smaller. Perhaps it will become so when finally the Home button of the Touch ID will go directly to the screen, because they allegedly are such plans.
Whatever the case, the iPad Pro can be enjoyed. And that is extremely light – 440 grams is almost nothing for such equipment. I did a simple experiment. First, I grabbed my iPad second generation, and a moment later – iPad Pro. Needless to say, the difference was colossal, in favor of the other? I did not even realize that the iPad 2, one day after not so heavy (600 grams), suddenly began to gravitate. And all slender and light iPad Pro. Still, it is hard to no longer use the iPad Pro, holding it with one hand.
Design a plus, as indeed is the quality of workmanship, which you can not say nothing bad. Besides, you ever heard that someone complained about the poor fit of the casing elements in the iPad, the creaking or other such ailments? I do not. However, one thing can scorch – as far as physical buttons are firmly embedded in the housing, so their use is associated with a relatively loud response. and I mean both the switch, buttons to adjust the volume, as well as the same Home. And this is not the only ailment Pro iPad and all smartphones and tablets Apple, which previously had to deal with.
Let’s look yet at the edges. At the top was placed switch the tablet is also used to sleep, two speakers and a 3.5 mm audio jack. On the opposite edge, at the bottom, we have two more speakers, and between them – Lightning connector. for a long time in the 9.7-inch tablet, Apple uses a matrix Retina with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. this translates into a density of pixels per inch at 264 ppi, which is similar as in the 5.5-inch screen with HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels; ~ 267 ppi). I compare these values are not without reason. for if on the smartphone, which often keeps a closer eye perception of jagged fonts not is not at all difficult art, as in the case of a tablet, a larger device, usually held at a greater distance, 264 ppi is perfectly adequate. It should also be noted that the higher the resolution and the diagonal does not occur in nature – or in the hardware Apple or the competition. I think that in terms of size – while the vast majority Runner competition offers displays 16:10 or 16: 9, the iPad continues to reign aspect ratio of 4: 3. Apple Tablets are recommended, above all, to consume content, with a focus on reading – web browsing or PDFs, because to 4: 3 works perfectly, mainly by the fact that more content is on the screen than at 16:10 . But if we want to watch a movie, we have to reckon with the fact that over and under the right content, you will see black bars – 4: 3 is definitely not cinematic proportions with which to be reckoned with.
Another issue is of course the brightness of the screen. the minimum is really minimal – measurement showed two rivets, therefore there is no excessive screen shining in the night. the maximum, in turn, is 400 nits and allows you to use the tablet even in the sun days. of course, fingerprints and reflections pester, but still visible in the sun is good.

True Tone is responsible for matching the hue and intensity of the image to the intensity of light – depending on the light in our environment , the screen changes colors to display content (white balance and brightness), so that the screen makes operation easier on the eyes. Night Shift in turn are complemented true tones, mobile counterpart F.lux, which passionately on the laptop I use for many, many months. This feature, in the set hours, the display automatically changes the colors warmer. As a result, not only did the use of the tablet is more comfortable, it still has to improve the quality of sleep – but how much truth in this, it is difficult to investigate, even wearing (I have no problems with sleep regardless of the mode is active or not).
at one time, a lot of the texts that I created on Tabletowo, arose on the virtual keyboard iPad I found it quite comfortable, although, of course, occupies half the screen view. Especially entering Polish characters through touch of the letter from the top or the ability to change the keyboard layout by apart the two fingers really to my liking, and not changed for years. What some time ago has changed is the fact that Apple finally allows you to install third-party virtual keyboards, so if the default does not suit us, we can quickly replace our favorite application, for example. SwiftKey or Swype.
